Eastern Ghats Symposium 2022 #

The Eastern Ghats Symposium 2022 brought together researchers and organisations who have worked in the region for the last two decades or more to consolidate existing knowledge and promote dialogue and collaborations. This was a two-day- long event was organised by the National Biodiversity Authority and IISER Tirupati in Tirupati, with sessions being streamed online. In addition to scientific sessions and a session to discuss future priorities, the symposium also hosted a special session on Red Sanders, showcasing projects funded by the National Biodiversity Authority. This was the first such event focused on Eastern Ghats biodiversity in over a decade.
